This beautiful little girl is Apple. She has been with me since she was 10 weeks old. She will be 2 on 3/30/14. I have been training her for competition in Obedience, Rally and Agility for UKC events. The AKC still will not allow deaf dogs to compete in their performance events, however the United Kennel Club does. Apple is an extremely smart little girl and has already earned her AKC Star Puppy Certification and medallion and her Canine Good Citizen Title. She is also in training to be a therapy dog and goes on visits often. She is a very popular little girl at the nursing homes. Apple is a very petite little girl, weighing only 35 lbs. She has wonderful focus when she is working and will make a great competitive dog. Apple loves to cuddle under the covers with you on the bed but she is crate trained if having white dog hair on the sheets is not for you. She loves sharing kisses with you. She is great with other dogs, we have not had a single dog she doesn’t get along with but we don’t think she would do well with cats. The perfect home for Apple will be one that is looking for a competitive dog that can also be a therapy dog. Apple is bi-laterally deaf so she will also need a fenced in back yard with a 6 ft privacy fence. She has been known to jump fences that are lower than 6 ft. And while that is not good, she is so beautiful when she does jump it just takes your breath away to watch her. Apple is AKC registered and has a wonderful, loving temperament.
